The application-wide readings of whether the device is online and whether the application is visible, TanStack's online manager and focus manager. A QueryClient refetches its queries when either turns true (RefetchOnReconnect, RefetchOnWindowFocus), and a refetch interval waits while the application is not visible (RefetchIntervalInBackground). A RetryPolicy pauses on the same readings when it supplies none of its own (IsOnline, IsFocused).

Remarks

Set an override once at startup to replace the reading for every query, mutation and retry, for an application that measures being online for itself or tells when its window is hidden. An override is called on the main thread.

Properties

IsOnline

Replaces the default online reading, Application.internetReachability is not NotReachable. Null restores the default.

IsVisible

Replaces the default visibility reading, a read of the platform's window state. Null restores the default.
